Nice to meet you, I'm Luciana Thomaz
For over 25 years I've been working with glazing and painting ceramics
Brazilian from the city of São Paulo, Luciana currently lives in Vinhedo, in the interior of SP. She began working in ceramics at 13 and became a teacher at 22. Eleven years ago she built her own studio where she teaches regular ceramic enameling classes.
She taught several workshops and courses throughout Brazil and abroad, and participated as a speaker at the National Congress of Techniques for the Fire Arts (CONTAF) 2018 and as a Demonstrating Artist for Mayco Colors enamels at the North American Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA ) in 2019 in Minneappolis; in 2023, in Cincinatti and in 2024 Richmond, in the United States.
